careful with the telltale tool i only used it on season 1 do not use it unless you are willing to play the game all the way through to make sure nothing is messed up
messing with the ttarch2 files even just decrypting them you can seriously mess the game up
the files were also decrypted but i opened the game up to fix the exorcist
like head movements (savvy with video animation so i can do that in alot of games)

about 7 and a half minutes
i seperated the lzo files and put all of them in one folder the first
put bik in a second
the text files for the bik were put in folder 3
i always use 3 data files

also i made sure to take out AFR first because it was interfering with it
for some odd reason....
also i do not use an unpack command

If i remember right srep does change nothing in size after bpk was applied.
^Depends on the input, in this case bpk only gives 386 MB.
Yeah Andu21 is right, it depends, sometimes srep can give you few MB`s.
Ok didn't noticed it.
PS: ME2 with uelr:uv is not a good idea...
5 hours 40 minutes so far installing (because uelr told me "SLOW LZO-STREAMS!" :D)

bpk+srep make any sense?
If i remember right srep does change nothing in size after bpk was applied.
i prefer using something like bpk+lzma or bpk+lolz helps me
i don't do srep i've seen it give negative ratio

most people repacked the 33.7 one i got it when it first came out lol
Actually, my repack is about 50mb smaller due to Setup.exe (I've used my own conversion), so 24.75 GB to be exactly.
I repacked it directly from steam 3 months ago

Repack type: Extract and Rebuild
Basically it restores .wav from .ogg and rebuilds folders to .iwd files
.ff files = Precomp+whatever you want
.bik files = binkpack
.iwd files = same as above
.iwd sound files = oggenc(below)
Rip Multiplayer = see below
eg. Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 Ripped Multiplayer
11.9 GB = 5.85 GB
For audio its a batch process, Use 7z to extract .iwd files with sound files in it. Start from bottom to top. Then compress .wav files and later delete them, but before deleting make sure there are as many .ogg files as there are .wav files. If there are for eg. 100 ogg files but 102 wav files it means oggenc wasn't able to compress 2 files, so you have to manually check in each iwd folder for these 2 files and make sure you don't delete them. Now copy zip.exe to "main" folder where other iwd files are located and oggdec in game folder. Create a batch files using notepad and type the below code

Now after putting the batch file, oggdec and zip.exe
To delete multiplayer Go in Zone folder and delete every file with _mp, _mp_ etc. but be careful and double check everytime, also you can delete mp audio files, in extracted iwd folders check for folder mp and delete it, thats it.

re doing a few of my games with lolz... also using a more powerful ram eating srep... i have been posting ram easy methods because not everyone has extremely powerful computers but i feel its time to show some slightly higher memory hog methods for those who do... will post updates if better i am new to it and its a new toy to test will also soon be posting more need for speed games :cool:

used srep +exe2 +delta + lolz on exes dlls etc files.
used srep +lolz on fat and dat files
and msc + srep +lz77 on
size is 2.7gb higher than FG (only 11.4gb) but extraction speed is 6x than hers on my pc.
required size is same as game size if u have enough ram.
It would be nice if anyone do a repack on just cause 3.

Razor made a file scanner if i took a stab in the dark i would say it uses zlib
but you need to know what streams it has before anyone can help you...
or if someone who has repacked it happens to see this

I use this method for repack: pzlib+srep:m3f:l128+lzma:ultra+lolz But i recive 70% ratio :eek:.
i need best method for 45% ratio or little ratio.
ztool isn't a stream its a tool

were it says # above change that number to your desire dependant on the amount of threads(cores) you have.. pzlib3 gets a better ratio its pretty much on par with precomp0.38 but faster

one thing i do know if you mix lolz with lzma on the same thing it can have a negative effect i would only use lolz they could be interfereing with eachother

i told you to use his methods first... thats how i got my start it helps you learn how to setup your own yes i have some of the same tools panker does but we have our setups done very different....
panker has so many good methods just begging to be put into an installer

i told you to use pankers tools to help you get an understanding of how it all works... panker has many good methods but he has everything setup differently
than i do that includes pack and unpack commands
you should stop trying to copy my methods try his that are built into his compressor...
pankers tools is were i got my start and understanding of compression as well as how to setup an installer and edit and arc.ini everything

replace # with number of threads u want.
every thread will use 700mb of ram during compression. and during decompression (around 100mb).
since we have used mtt0(ratio will not be affterted because of multithreading) number of threads during decompression will be equal to number of threads during compression.
That was a typing error and u still didnt tried to find what is wrong.
yeah i did actually.....at one point i did do that but it crashed on ztool
i've since changed the pzlib settings and am test running it hasn't crashed
only on with ztool though something about the setting i was using was conflicting...

used afr +srep +lolz with mt2 on .forge files
bpk +srep on .bik excluding Abestergololgo.bk2 (bpk produces error with this single video)
srep+ lz77 on sound files
previously i did repack of AC unity with ztools plzo but it was bigger around 500mb than afr version and took around 30 minutes more to install using same no. of threads.
BTW, it takes around 1 hour to install on my core i3 4 thread pc + hdd 5400rpm.

are you sure? ive used it many times but on the 158 or 200 mb part yes it crashes if you try to use anything above that
the 4x4:t2:b2047m is a multithread trick if using lzma2.exe an not the 7zip one by removing 4x4 from fazip arc command..
it will force the arc.exe to handle the 4x4 and there will be 2 lzma2 threads instead of one also works on rzm

not on these i didn't i always say when i remove things or re encode them... wich i didn't do that
so don't go around making assumptions just because i re encoded videos on some other games..

Compress is not a problem, decompress = crc error / archive data corrupted (don't remember which of them) on mentioned files. All other files works good.

Thought in letting you know guys that i haven't forgotten this thread, it just happen that i like to bruteforce games and that takes time especially if they are big. I also tend to focus on old games or a few years back at the most.

I believe if you recode a video and de image still looks good, or you recode thinking that file have amount of birthrate (e.g. A video 1280x720 - 12 MB rate), you can simple recode that file over and over again with different settings. I hope you guys have understand what i saying.

i don't see it to be a shortcut by any means it actually takes time and alot of
knowledge to properly recode... the video to be that small but still have quality about the same or higher in this case the videos were the same ones from the playstation 2 port.. crappy as heck not only did i shrink them i raised the bitrate and color rate and shrunk it to a much lower resolution....

ok thank you for pointing this game out... i did not have the version of it i thought i had i did indeed rip language files it totally slipped my mind
but i did nothing to the video i do not know how to get into those files to even alter them i did a side by side comparison to a newer version of the game...
an update is in order after i repack this newer version
i will still include my plz4 settings the exact dll and ztools i use and the exact srep in this message
i do not use cls lolz i use lolz normally
and the settings i like to use on this srep suck up over 5 gigs of ram just a heads up
and yes it does have training videos i hate them just want to race lol

next project opening up the devil may cry 3 HD collection and attempting to make the widescreen cutscenes full screen...
seems to be the only flaw in that game
and
decrypting the files on a few telltale games so can use pzlib on them and post the results
I remember I have used ttarch tool to rebuild the archives of TellTale Games, the game`s size will be bigger (a lot), but the compressed size will be much smaller.
But TBH dont remember exactly the commands I have used in ttarch!
But yeah it is possible to achieve better compression when archives are rebuild-ed!

most cpu today have 4 core at least with 4gb ram...
memory usage 3400mb in compression.
memory usage per thread 128mb for decompresion.
most game that i test it lolz with 32mb/64mb/128mb/256mb found almost no benefit in increasing memory...
i hope this will help me because no matter what i do
my pc will not use more than one thread with lolz

i test lolz on ryzen cpu r5 1600 and coffee lake cpu i7 8700k it use all core...
precompmt uses all my cores so does uharcmt
but this will not for some reason

try mt2 but don't change mtt1 to mtt0... use it with d32
i raised the block and dictionary size to max i have 16 gigs of ram i think it can take it

i will figure this out if its the last thing i do you aren't the only one who has tried to help me but i never saw significant changes in the numbers in the compressor till you told me to put the commands on the pack command.

okay still 1 core must be my cpu
one thing i notice is that each time i change a setting
it affects that one cores consumption using mtt0 the block and
dictionary size are different using mtt1 they are identical...
but the settings do seem to affect ratio as well as speed
even on one core

Any one Know Here How to Compress Assassins Creed Liberation HD(About 3gbs)?
I already compressed the game(Now its 1.56gb, Everything working fine) but i want more compression any suggestions.
Used these compression methods(Created 3 parts)
Part1-------------------------------------
on .forge files i used -mafr+srep+lolz
Where srep options were -m3f -ia- l512
and lolz options were -d256mb -tt8 -mc1023
Part2---------------------------------------------
on .pck sound files i used srep64+lolz
where srep64 options were -m5f -ia- -l512
and lolz options were -d256mb -tt8 -mc1023
Part3--------------------------------------------
on .txt, .exe, .dll etc files(left files)
used srep+dispack+lolz
Is there anything else i can achieve ultra compression?

By Compressing Unreal Engine Files for e.g .tfc, .upk, .umap etc etc
I have found that by using uelr+srep64+lolz given me the compression rate was slightly strong than using uelr+srep+lolz
Note: srep options were -m3f -ia- -l512 compressed 1289kb-->848kb
srep64 options were -m3f -ia- -l512 compressed 1289kb-->846kb
So my opinion is to use uelr+srep64( -m3f -ia- -l512 )+lolz on these unreal engine files
On Compressing sound .pck files compression rate was slightly great using srep64+lolz than using srep+lolz
Note: srep options were -m3f -ia- -l512 56.5mb-->48.6mb(1kb increased as compared to srep64)
srep64 options were -m3f -ia- -l512 56.5mb-->48.6mb
srep64 options were -m5f -ia- -l512 56.5mb-->48.5mb
srep64 options( without -ia- ) were -m5f -l512 56.5mb--> 48.6(9kb decreased as compared to srep64(48.6mb)
So my opinion is to use srep64( -m5f -ia- -l512 )+lolz on these .pck sound files
On compressing sound .pck files compression was awesomely fast by using srep64+lzma:ultra(but 2mb increase in file that i used to compress) than using srep64+lolz(slow compression), i think lzma is doing better in .pck files
On compressing .forge files with afr+srep64+lolz taken much time(headache) than using afr+srep64+lzma:ultra(fast compression but about 187mb in increase in file that i used to compress
NOTE: My file size was 1.91GB
As far as i know now i have tested a 35,264kb .forge file and the compression test was this:
by using afr+srep(options)+lolz Based on srep(options) there was slight changing in compression
by using afr+srep64(options)+lolz Based on srep64(options) there was also slight changing in compression
{options of srep} using srep(-m3f -ia- -l512) compression was from 35,264kb-->10,397kb
using srep(-m5f -ia- -l512) compression was from 35,264kb-->10,463kb
but if we use srep(-m3f -l512) compression will be from 35, 264kb-->10,398kb (1kb increased without using -ia-)
but if we use srep(-m5f -l512) compression will be from 35, 264kb-->10,464kb (1kb increased without using -ia-)
{options of srep64} using srep64(-m3f -ia- -l512) compression was from 35,264kb-->10,400kb
using srep64(-m5f -ia- -l512) compression was from 35,264kb-->10,458kb
but if we use srep64(-m3f -l512) compression will be from 35, 264kb-->10,401kb (1kb increased without using -ia-)
but if we use srep64(-m5f -l512) compression will be from 35, 264kb-->10,459kb (1kb increased without using -ia-)
At last i think for .forge files it's good to use srep(-m3f -ia- l512) but it may differ from time to time

okay i have a dilemma i have been extracting .cpk files then repacking the game
then packing the files back up after install games work perfect
problem is there is one file i have run into that i cannot extract...
from sonic forces (wars_0.cpk) crashes when nearly 7 gigs have been extracted
does anyone know of a tool i can extract this file with i want to repack it and add the tools etc to the list...

@actually. our internet is blocked by india from last 5days and i am using a tunneling software. My speed is too damn slow because of it.
It would be a nice idea if u could create a thread where we could share tools that can be used to rebuild game files. like bms scripts etc.

i have to deal with that with cpk files unpacking compressing then after installing
packing the files back up but its the only way i know to compress cpk
the only reason i do it is because i have gain.....but packing a 16gb cpk file back up can take hours...i call it sleeptime method because that is when i do it..lol

there is no precompressor for crilayla based games (AKA) .cpk
that thread explains they must be extracted then compressed
and then the file must be manually packed back up even provides a tool

Someone here reported that the uelr reported slow streams with files of mass effect 2 and extracting me2 files is hell impossible but C*reP@ck chave compressed it to 6gb. can anybody conform what they have used and also their nfo says the extraction time on 4core cpu is 6 minutes.
