Legend - Hand of God can delete all saves!

Be carefull!
I played v1.0 for a while often interrupted by crashes. After a crash I loaded the last save, naturally. But once there was a special crash and all my savegames and the character config was lost.

(Wrong forum, moved.)

Because of improperly written, buggy software, this can happen with any other game, too. (I've had it happen to me with Terminator: Future Shock and Deus Ex: Invisible War, both of which are otherwise very stable.) Solution: have, at least, two savegames and overwrite them with the new save alternately; also, backup savegames often, e.g. daily. You can spare a lot of annoyance with these...

I agree, but important is to be prewarned.
I found out, that most of the crashes were caused by the function "get all items nearby". Avoiding this I played like the "hand of god".
