Be carefull!
I played v1.0 for a while often interrupted by crashes. After a crash I loaded the last save, naturally. But once there was a special crash and all my savegames and the character config was lost.:eek:

Because of improperly written, buggy software, this can happen with any other game, too. (I've had it happen to me with Terminator: Future Shock and Deus Ex: Invisible War, both of which are otherwise very stable.) Solution: have, at least, two savegames and overwrite them with the new save alternately; also, backup savegames often, e.g. daily. You can spare a lot of annoyance with these...

I agree, but important is to be prewarned.
I found out, that most of the crashes were caused by the function "get all items nearby". Avoiding this I played like the "hand of god".:D
