clonedvd2 ---> dvd menu?

hello everyone.. for some reason, the dvds im burning go straight to the feature rather than the menu first. after the feature starts, i have to then hit 'menu' in order to access the dvd menus. im using CloneDVD2 and i've tried both 'copy dvd titles' and 'clone dvd' w/ the 'preserve menu' option selected. thanx in advance for any helpful info~

Some movies do that on their own. How many movies have you done this with? I rarely have this happen to me.

hey tyler... ive only backed-up two titles so far... the Notebook, and Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle. the original dvds play the menu first. they both happen to be New Line titles... but still.. the only time i've ever seen a dvd authored straight to the feature are on really old titles that dont have many menu options... but even that is really rare.

when i burn to 'dvd files' onto my hd... which file generally loads first on a dvd player? im asking bc im tryin to test other dvds w/out having to actually burn on a dvd-r.
