I wonder about the legality of these copy protections detecting virtual CDs software or any other software on my machine.
Don't I have the right to install any legal software on my machine without being bothered that other programs detect them (and won't launch in the process )? Isn't this a privacy problem ? Is this part of the International Rights Void (TM) ? Do someone have a clear answer ? Any lawyer here ?

i would come to think so...... i guess it could be concidered a privacy problem, and it is legit to make backups of your owned software.... and if it's not - how are they ever going to know ?
