ea games boot up probs

i have backed up burnout 3 and fifa 2005 they are backed up on ritek g04 dies and are by no means the first dvds i have backed up they play fine on a mates ver4 ps2 with messiah but wont play on my ver 3 ps2 with neo 2.2 and ar2 any body got any ideas i am trying the exact same discs and if it is my chip can anybody tell me what chip will go in a version 3 as im told messiah 2 wont go on one
EDIT: just got nfs underground 2 and they are all doing the same blank screen

Its your modchip. Update to a Duo2 SE and hope the laser isnt shot from the Neo 2.2

does anyone know where i can get this bootchip from and anyone who will fit it please thanks for your advice warlock laser ok its running san andreas fine also its a pal ps2 im from england will this chip work on a pal machine

Yes, it'll work on a PAL machine - you'll struggle for someone to fit it in a V4...

ea games on a neo require patching, if you dont know how to do this, dont try its quite hard if your new too it..

Just sell your ps2 (v3) say its chipped blah blah, dont meantion version, with the money from that get a v7 and get that chipped.

Tell me about it...no one would touch my V3 PS2...so i ended up buying a pre-modded v10

got it done £50 its great now playing everything sweet was interested in the patching bit though friends having same probs anywhere i can learn how to patch ? any help thankfully recieved
