Doom 3 - Windows 2003 Server

Hi all,
has anyone come up with a fix to running doom 3 on windows 2003 server standard edtion? I cant belive they havent supported so many OS' GRRR>..

tried running all exe's in compatibility mode however this does not fix the problem.. "doom 3 requires win xp or 2000"

It's a problem with the installer not the game itself. Here's the fix:

yeh thats what i meant. but you dont have to do the editing yourself as a prepatched file is available to download in many places, including fileplanet.
