Using the CDs the one time is not going to destroy them, and requesting you to at least make the attempt is sound advice. Besides, if you copied them then they've already been 'used'.

If it turns out that only the disk copies are preventing you from installation, you might try a different software package for duplicating them. You also could try using something like WinISO to extract the contents of the disks to your harddrive, then manually burn them to disk being sure to label the CD appropriately. CD protections prevent execution of the data without the disk, but I have never known an installation to check for protection.

try making .iso files (image files) of the original cds with win iso or ultra iso, and then extract all files from all the cds into 1 folder. then run the set up and that should work without it having to ask you for cd1. if you are having trouble figuring that out e-mail me and i will help you. thanks I download ultraIso and it worked. Guess I will have to buy the program now
