ANSWER; DVDRX absolutely fine for CD-R backups. The reason is that DVDRX, GS2/AR2, Memory Manager Plus are boot procedures that do things first and then haul in a game behind it. A modchip is required to allow that game to be a backup. DVDRX original purpose was to allow a selected region DVD movie to be viewed. But it follows the rules I have described above so it allows games to be booted.
