no-cd no-dvd ?
is there a difference when it says no-cd no-dvd? i ask because the sims2 freetime is on cd and the fix says no-dvd will it work?

if the game came on a cd, the crack is sometimes a no-cd, if the game came on a dvd, the crack is sometimes a no-dvd, essentially its all the same

thanks for reply, i think the game comes on cd but the game fix says no-dvd so a couple of friends wondered if it would still work.
we dont like secuom on our computers so dont want to use the cd if we dont have to |

yes we all do trust me about the many posts about what happened to peoples pc's after installing bon voyage, my own daughters was one. hard drive crashed and had to be replaced. since then only play without using cd.

Man I prefer Securom 1 millon of times better than SF or that pile of crap of Steam like type of protections . At least Securom is not so intrusive. The blacklisting virtual drive thing in Securom could be a bit disgusting but is generally avoidable

well, most protection issues are generally avoidable by using the original disk, however i do agree software like starforce is a bit too intrusive / invasive, i can understand using drivers in protections (but nowadays any good cracker will know ring 0 and have a fair understanding of it, which in essence reduces the 'power' of the protection using drivers...) but thankfully the 'trend' seems to be dying, the latest rumor was that starforce was also dropping its driver usage, which would be nice to see, and then protect cd, tages etc might also do the same..
