Maybe they are using private beta builds or know how to locate the version number?
Also, please don't post another question and bump the thread, edit your original post and put all questions together! |

Use DT pro instead of alcohol then you can choose a default profile (securom, safedisc, tages...) and the correct image is automatically done!

Safedisc DVD: no special settings needed
SecuROM DVD: tick Data Position Measurement (Precision: High), some drives aren't capable of doing a DPM or only at certain speeds Here are some guides for Safedisc/Securom Quote:
btw. we'll soon see DVD profiles in Alcohol

DT pro is free
Alcohol is useless since DT Pro. Why should I use alc and DT if only DT Pro can combine all functions of both progs? Just alcohol doesn't work cuz alc VSCSI devices can't be hidden by yasu 1.4. DT Pro is also easier to handle for newbies. btw: Alcohol 120% is not free.

The one and only advantage of DAEMON Tools Pro Basic compared to Alcohol 120% is the Tages Dumper, and it looks like latest Tages version 5.5.3.1 only runs in vIDE of DAEMON Tools Pro Advanced; but he asked for Securom anyway. |

The FAQ is quite neutral about which CD/DVD drive hider software is the best; should YASU be placed on the top and all the others mentioned as also existing but not very useful (anymore)?

all others are pretty much dead, especially for newer versions of the prot...
pr0t.st0p etc are pretty much redundant, same for curerom, yasu seems to be the current 'favourite'...
