Multi disk problem

I don't know whether or not this is the right place to put this question or whether anyone here can help me, but anyways, i hope u can.

I have a pal psone and a ntsc game 'crono cross'

I also have a psxchange disc which i use to play imported games on my psone.

The psxchange disc basically works by putting it in, and when it stops spinning, it tells u to put in the imported game and press start and then it'll work.

I've never had any problems with it and i've always been able to easily play games on my psone with the disc, and this time, i was able to play through the entire first disc on crono cross.

But my problem is at the end of disc one, i have to switch to disc two; which i can't do!

And theres no saving at the end of the disc, so i cant just save and then load the saved file from disc two. It just tells me to insert disc two.

So i don't know what to do, i was wondering if anyone knows how i can solve this problem?

Not much unfortunately... you'll just have to use your original disc past this point...

put in an original disc any game and hold down the lid senser switch so the console thinks its closed the disc will spinn slowly at first then speed up.

when the disc speeds up that means the copy protection checks are done and while the disc is spinning pull out the original and put in your disc 2 import.

i used to use swap methods on my ps1 cuz i couldnt aford a mod chip and this is how i would play my multi disc burns

He is using an original disc.
The problem is that he cannot change the disc because this then resets the psone requiring the need to use the ps-x-change cd again, which of course won't then accept the 2nd disc because there is no save available at the end of the first disc.
Unfortunately the only way around this is with a modchip fitted.

Good luck for you however he is NOT using a same region game or 'non-import' as you want to call it, and he makes that quite clear -

he can use ANY game for the first part silent hill, resident evil, final fantasy a demo disc, he could even put his swap disc in, then you swap out the original and put in the import crono cross disc 2 and it will load. as long as you have ANY game original non-import game (it doesnt have to be crono cross) my swap method will work.

you just need an original non-import to load a little bit at first to get past the cd checks then you can put in the import disc and the game will load

Thank you for the advice everyone!

I was able to get around the problem using the swap trick, putting in another psx disc, waiting for it to spin, taking out the spring, putting in disc 2 of chrono cross and then putting back the spring. And i got to finish the game! So YAY for the swap trick.

But now i have another problem...

Now that i finished Chrono Cross, i wanted to play Luner Silver Star Story, ANOTHER Ntsc game i have. But...for some reason, it just aint working.

When i put in the psxchange disc and it tells me to put in the imported game and press start, i do all this, but the game simply doesnt load.

I tried the psxchange disc with chrono cross, suikoden and my other ntsc games again to make sure its still working fine and it is still working perfectly, so it cant be a problem with the psxchange disc.

And Lunar's in mint condition and NEITHER of its 2 discs work. So i don't know what to do.

Does anyone know?

Does Lunar Silver Star Story simply not work with psxchange. Or i heard somewhere about games with a single audio not working? I don't know, does anyone know what the problem could be and how i could fix it?
