Upgrade to the latest Daemon Tools. Make sure you have the latest SPTD drivers. Update your motherboard/IDE drivers, too. It must be a driver problem and has nothing to do with the image (or only to the extent that the image might have data that makes the bug appear and the bug crashes your system).
