mod chip question

sweetness, my matrix infinity chip should be here tomorrow or deffintly friday, cant wait to give this a go

quick question here. im ready to install my matrix infinity chip and heres my question

in the install picture look at number 2, for wires A-H it shows to solder the holes? am i suppose to flip the board over for those and solder the pads on the opposite sides? prob a stupid question but i just wanna make sure

Gently scrape the point with a blade or a fiberglass pen, Tin the wire with solder, dip it in flux and attach to the pad

i flipped it over and for those wires there is no pad so im assuming to solder it over the holes. and i also receieved one wire thicker than the others, thats for the ground right? been a long time sense i installed a chip

i soldered all the wires but when i power up i dont even get the broswer screen whats up with that
