curling 2006 german

i've tried the 2006 Jan 21 version and it dosen't work.
This error occured: Patching Curling2006.exe - CRC error!

Wow, then try the other one! <sigh> If that doesn't work either, send your Curling2006.exe file (zipped!) to me via E-mail and I'll upload the crack for it in a few minutes.

i just tried it and it didn't work but with an other error.

when i try it, it loads the game, and after the intro thing it just goes off,
is this due to the crack not working or is there another problem?

Try it without a crack. (I don't know and I can't even test it because I don't have the game, only the main executable that forum members sent to me...)

Ohhh! See the log file, called FIRE.LOG, that the game creates; can you find the apparent reason for the crash in it?

there's load's of
Bad attribute line: errors in the log,
all different things at the end of the line though
could i send someone the file, see if they can pick out the problem?

thanks, works fine for me. I ran the 1/21 file from within the same directory as the curling2006.exe (no crack)

now does anyone speak German......

Either of those cracks work for me.
Only the intro video and then CTD.
Made a clean installation, run regedit and cleaned all before.
Here's few lines from FIRE.LOG:

--- Reading config file
*** F_VFS::GetFileData Loading of config.cfg FAILED!!!
*** F_VFS::GetFileData Loading of user.cfg FAILED!!!
Dumping all registered variables ...

Hope this gives some "light"

I don't get it. The crack (read: one of the cracks) works for some you but not for some others?

@vrdxg: Are you sure the game runs properly with your original CD, without a crack?!
