Matrix Infinity 1.38 questions
I have the chance to buy a modded PStwo (SCPH-70004) with a Matrix Infinity 1.38 chip.
Is this chip recommended for playing Backup PS2 & PS1 games? How is compatibility? How about 1.38? Is this old? Is it possible to upgrade the version? Thanks for your answers

I read something about Matrix Infinity clones (like Modbo). How do I know if it's a clone in that PStwo? Under the Playstation 2 logo is "Matrix Infinity 1.38" written. Could this also be written there if it's a clone? I need to know this because if you update the firmware and it's a clone the chip gets damaged.

Tell the person that your getting it from that you want it flashed with the most resent Infity flash V1.75 and see how they respond.
