There is another one, if anyone's interested:
NFS_MOST_WANTED_SAFEDISK_CRACK_BY_CRiMiNALS.rar
http://www.mytempdir.com/273656

I've sent this to gcw yesterday. It includes a speed.exe, same size as the exe of version 1.2. Some bytes are different, but it seems that Safedisc is not removed

Anyway, have a look at it, it's better than nothing

Here this is from my other posting:

"I grabbed that nodvd out other day here ( http://m2010.gamecopyworld.com/download.php?d=2005&f=NFSMW-MINI!rar ), its like 858+KB but extracts to 1.74gig (we know its not really this size but all filled with 0's but windows sees it as this size so takes it out your HDD space), anyhow do as that peep told me and compress it using the windows compression option and REBOOT PC, then its back to tiny file, mount in daemon tools V4 and play game (i dont need to hide daemon now, not sure if you will)"

"BTW i have legit 4CDR version from 17th Nov"

So basically you will then have tiny file of 1.23MB (ondisk size) on your HDD (only once you compress and reboot), and if your lucky like me you may not need hide daemon V4 anymore.

You really need me to tell you why you need reboot PC after compressing the .mdf ?, I will give you a hint (1) look at your HDD space left before you extract the rar, (2) then look at HDD space after you extract the rar, (3) then look at HDD space after you compress the .mdf, (4) then finally look at HDD space after you reboot PC, come back and tell me what doesnt change from stage 2 till after stage 4.

P.S I would simply have replied with the answer to your question, if i didnt detect a slight smartass attitude, you werent really asking for real IMO.

Uhm, is this the problem with putting maxi images onto the (NTFS-formatted) Windows system partition and then using Windows compression on them? For a test, I put a maxi image onto an NTFS-formatted partition other than the Windows system partition, on my work PC at my work place, compressed it and I won back the size of the maxi image (minus the 1 Megabyte size of the Windows-compressed maxi image) instantly. (See my test results in this thread: http://fileforums.com/showthread.php?t=73889 ) I cannot try maxi images on my Windows system partition as it has only half a Gigabyte of free space left...

[Edit] As for the smartass attitude, sorry about that! 1) I thought you were simply fooled by that guide you quoted and didn't check whether or not all steps are necessary and 2) I'm listening to discussions so that I can add confirmed tricks to the forum FAQ.

Unhappy

I wonder, why is that big problem to make the No-Cd patch, because mounting countless of images is becomming quite irritating for me...
