Check on Civfanatics/Apolyton for some possible work-arounds as well, I've read a few threads about the game not running from DVD due to it 'thinking' that dtools or alcohol are being used, etc.
I havn't tried the no-cd method yet, but per the instructions, be sure to try using the sd4 hide in the order they describe. I'll fire it up later today -- no wait it's thanksgiving... i'll try tomorrow and post back if it gives me the same grief. What emulator are you trying? FYI, there's a new patch out, so they may have fixed some startup issues. |
