Burners also contribute to this problem. Pioneers in particular dont seem to burn quickly too well - this is especially true of the older Pioneers (or so I find anyway).

Interesting. Will do a few experimental burns. I have to admit I'm from the Old Skool of burning from PS1 days (slowest is best) but will have a play with faster speeds.
