BF2 dvd mini img not working

bf2mini-skl.mdf is the img i'm trying to use. I tried mounting it with daemon tools but when I run bf2, the screen goes black then boots me to desktop. It also did the same with alcohol 120%. i also tried using Anti-Blaxx, but i've never used it and didn't know how it worked, so i just did some random things and that gave me the same result. oh; and my friend said he got it to work and he used alcohol.

i updated bf2 to 1.02, and my specs are:
radeon x800xt, 1 gig ddr ram, 2.0 ghz amd

nvm; i should have searched before i posted, lol. reinstalling it to get original exe.

I use the blh-bf2.mdf myself without problems ( I'm also at 1.02 version ).
As for alcohol and Deamon the trick is while installing them to rename their miniport drivers and you won't need anti-blaxx.

I have both Alcohol and Daemon installed and did NOT rename the miniport drivers! And BF2 mini image still works for me? (allthough it is my own mini image not a downloaded one). I also dont have anti-blaxx installed.

probably because (at a guess) you have the latest versions of both programs, which weren't around at the time the exe was protected (and thus its blacklist would be out of date).. common sense aint it.. not magic

I have Daemon v3.47 (as I presume most people would) and Alcohol v1.9.5 (Build 2802) which as you know is not the latest version, also I think Build 2802 was out well before battlefield 2 was released? So it could be 'magic' after all?

with the latest Alcohol Beta Version i dont need Antiblax ! Also not to rename the Miniport Driver
