Talking Best Dual format Dual Layer DVD recorder downunder

Hi Folks

I'm from the land down under ( Australia)

I'm looking for a Dual format/ Dual Layer DVD recorder.

And was wondering if anybody had any suggestions.

Also how much am I looking at having to pay

if you like closely at that thread you see that the person asking the question is in the UK and the answerer in in the US.

I'm looking for best burners available down here in Australia.

Oftensome brands of burners and disc etc that are available elsewhere in the world are not down here

That why I have asked the question.

Yes cause I have one :P

Its 16x DL burner.

Good media coverage, and stable burning, able to extract DPM's. But cant make karaoke discs :P

hiya, i too am "downunder" and have heard good things about the nec 3250 (i think thats the model number)...and am buying one soon... try anandtech.com or tomshardware.com - im pretty sure it was one of those that had a review of dual layer dvd burners...
