Poll: What Dual Layer Burner are you going to buy.

Vote/Give Reason if possible.

My vote: Wait for dual format (Many articles say that the dual layer burners can only burn one dual layer format, although they can burn both single layer formats), and +RW disks.

Although I personally dont have a Dual Layer Burner yet (the burners themselves are now dirt cheap, its the flipping media that is a bit too pricey for my liking), but I'm sure the easiest way to copy disc to disc would be just to rip the files to an ISO image using DVD Decrypter then burn the ISO back to your Dual Layer disc using the same software?

I hope the files you are downloading from Limeware are public domain. Otherwise, burning the stuff you download is considered illegal.

Thats fine, but Warez (the copyrighted material you might have downloaded), is strictly forbidden on this site. Thats the main rule the owner has in place and subsquently, each of the sub sections has adopted this rule in 1 way or another (Just go to the PC Forum, to see how tough the moderators are in there. The pansies, get a life and get laid!)

Anyways, I wont help you on the second problem. But as its late, and like I said, I dont have a Dual Layer Burner to see how DVD Decrypter runs on it, but the procedure should be pretty standard...

1: Go download DVDDecrypter if you dont already have it. Install and Reboot PC
2: Launch the software, and press the R Key on your pc.
3: You will see a bunch of files. Listed on the Right Window, make sure they are highlighted. (Edit/Select All)
4: Press that big DVD button. You cant miss it. The ISO will be ripped to your C Drive by default. Obviously you can change this.
5: Once its done ripping. Its a good idea, to close down DVD Decrypter, and restart it.
6: Once restarted, press the W Key on your keyboard.
7: See that Select Source Window? Use that to find your ISO file.
8: Now if you want to, you can burn straight to your chosen media, by pressing the previously mentioned big DVD button

Knowing my luck, I missed out a bunch of useful information (or maybe what I posted was completely wrong?), but that should be the basics of it. If you want to investigate further, check out sites like www.videohelp.com and www.doom9.org. Oh yeah, you might find lots of other useful information there too

How in the heck did JoyBoy come off as sarcastic.. No one writes a long post like that in attempts to put someone down.. Except me. But seriously the guy just tried to help and went out of his way to do so..

Some women are rocket scientists <====== sarcasm
