Try disabling the movies under the configure settings before you start the game. The scrolling text at the beginning is a movie file, and its very common (especially for ati cards) for kotor2 to crash after any movie.
If you do have an ati card, I upgraded to the latest catalyst drivers from the ati site and was then able to play it with the movies on. If you don't have an ati card try disabling the movies anyways see if it works. I'll try and help you out because I really want a no-cd patch for the 2.10 (1.0b update) version. |

If I remember rightly, I think someone said they put on AntiAliasing in the options and started a new game and it went to the droid tutorial part of the game.
After which they turned off AA. |

found out the problem, my video card quit on me it wouldnt support the driver so i had to go get a new one anyway im back on the road to cracking it
