Well, it looks like thursday is San Andreas day! (That's when the stores in my area will start selling it.)

What good news and a relief to know that we'll be able to play the game and save the wear and tear on our disc drives...

Of course I'm buying games, I got Silent Hunter 3 original for 30 euros a few months ago and it was worth it. And before that I had bought an original game for my ZX 48k somewhere in the late 80s.

Just got my copy of san andreas from game here in dublin released 1 day early no queing for me now in the morning plus all the boxes were marked with the wrong price 39.99 euro how sweet is that virgin are charging 54.99 euro

Play.com - £24.99 delivered to your door, and got it about 3/4 days before uk release
Haven't actually tried to backup yet, will post results when I do.
