GTA: SA - lets burn it!

Every once in a while I just have this URGE to make a working backup. I just got the game (woohoo). Yes, its SecuROM 7.006.

I have Lite-On DVD-RW SOHW-832S (latest firmware from Omni)

I have latest Alcohol 120%, and Alcoholer 4.1

Whats the best way to make a WORKING copy for me? Alcoholer has TwinPeaks built in. I want a copy that works without ANY extra software.

I also use ASPI 4.7 if thats a problem.

Thanks!

You tell us, you're the one with the game. We don't get it in the UK until Friday!

Well, I do not even know what settings to use for SecuROM 7. I remember I made working copies of SecuROM 4 or 5 before but no clue about 7.

Clone seems to be possible.

Got this from an nfo-site:
Quote:

mount image with 3.47 Daemon tools install disable your optical drive in the device manager or plug out it mount the image to the drive letter what the game ask!

Talus 07-06-2005 09:32

Well, when I run it mounted with Alcohol I get an error saying 'Emulation Detected, please disable'.

Lame, eh?

Talus 07-06-2005 09:34

Daemon Tools won't work for me either. I don't think I made the image properly then :(

Oh well. I'll try another time.

Until then, back to playing :D

Try anti-blaxx or manipulate the registry manually. Worked with all Secrurom games. Maybe with this one too.

GTA - San Andreas

I've already backed up a few games which used "SecuROM 7" as copy protection with "CloneCD 5" and they work! So backing up "GTA - San Andreas" should be no problem!

You can find the actual version of "CloneCD 5" here:

Game must have blacklisted the latest Emulation software. When is the latest Daemon tools being released? They are still mucking about with the latest Beta. The Nforce say that an Image can be mounted with Daemon 3.47, so we should be able to make a working backup (not interested in Warez thanks)

P.S. What Alcohol version are you using?

Should work I would think.

sgtshaft 07-06-2005 11:11

Hoodlum have cracked it!! so couldnt give a toss about backing it up

munsterbuster 07-06-2005 11:14

You still have to watch out. Read it at slow speed and there should be no problem with installing.
Confirm that with hoodlum.

Talus 07-06-2005 11:38

Bleh...I'll just wait for the no-DVD crack then :D

ewbengel 07-06-2005 11:44

use
Grand.Theft.Auto.San.Andreas.Crack.Fix-HOODLUM

in 4 hours i have finish download the dvd release, then i can upload the crack
