Need for speed 2 cheats not working

I have tried using a couple of the NFSU2 cheats because I am out of money and cannot find any more races that I will get paid for. The cheats say to enter the cheat on the "ENTER" screen before selecting a profile. I enter it, the game beeps like it accepts the code, however it does not add the cash to my bank. The two codes I am using are well documented and are regmebaby (adds $20,000 to career mode) and regmybank (addes $2,000 in career mode). I'm stuck, desperate, depressed and frustrated. Has anyone ever gotten one of these codes to work? Can anyone help? I'll send you money if you can! Thanks in advance!

Yes, I cannot find any more races in stage two. All of them in the World map say completed and I have no money, so the only thing left is out run races. Why is that so hard to understand a$$hole? Why the f*&^ is everyone on this forum such a jerk off? One little question and you get morons like you jumping down your throat trying to find some flaw to make themselves feel better about themselves I guess. Well F*&% you Luciel you a$$hole! What purpose did your response serve except to make your self look like an idiot? Why is is so hard to believe that I am out of races and out of money (besides outrun races)? Huh? Come on tough guy? lol it happened me too, when u dont street race with those guys in the streets u will run out of races to race :\, u have to race them too.
