Help Clonedvd gone crazy
Hi people
Im a rookie at doing the back up the dvd thing. I ripped a dvd using SmartRipper to my harddrive. When i use clone dvd to open up the files for burning it comes up withe the following msg. C:\documents and settings\user\mydocuments\my videos\Dawn of the dead/video_ts.ifo:2:unable to open file can some one point out to me where im going wrong????? cheers m8 EE

Why don't you just copy the original with Clonedvd on its own wothout shrinking it onto the HD, there is no point shrinking it onto ur HD, also if you do get the same problem with using just clonedvd then switch drives, by this i mean if you are using ur dvd burner to copy then use ur dvd rom to copy then just burn only with burner, hope i helped

CloneDVD
There is no need to Rip the movie to the hard drive. The only reason to do this is if you are going to edit the movie or change the content. In that case you will have to convert the movie to an .AVI file anyhow, But, if all you are doing is copying the movie, CloneDVD does a great job. I have copied over 200 movies without errors. LOTR's had a 58% reduction, the overall video quality still looks very good. Just let the program do it's job. Have fun... Keep'em burning...
