Hi. Now I have come across another dillemma, concerning CloneDVD. This time, it involves trying to burn files from a "Home Made" DVD. This movie I am trying to burn is a tribute "movie" to a dear friend in our community. The video contains still photos, some interviews , and some music tracks playing in the background (during the montage of still photos). There are no Menus or encryptions, whatsoever. In other words, somebody used a camcorder, then transferred the VHS/Camcorder "movie" to a DVD-R.
First, I ripped the DVD (which is around 1.5 GB in size [a 20 minute video]) using DVD Decrypter (In file mode). I ripped the files into a folder called Movies2. That worked okay. Then, I go into CloneDVD. I get to the "Title Configuration" screen, clicked the appropriate folder (Movies2) to retrieve the files from and an error message comes up: Unable to open video files Error opening video files from C:\Movies2 DVDManager 5 1 IFOFormat 15 Have any idea what this error means?!?! I even went back and tried to rip the DVD in IFO Format. The only problem with that was, was that I got the "C:\Movies2\Video_TS.IFO:2:Unable to open file" error again (when I attempted to open my target folder from CloneDVD). So, obviously that didn't work. I also tried ripping it with DVD Shrink. It ripped okay, but after I got into CloneDVD and tried to open the target folder, the "DVDManager" error came up again. Thank you for your time. |

Try burning it with another program - and make sure you selected all files to be ripped from the dvd
