dvd drive clicks

did my 5th mod i guess there's a first for everything!
it's a v9 did the mod with a duo 2 after install the dvd drive clicks and won't read and the circle pattern in the browser menu is just a bright ball.
any idea's?
i also cleaned and removed the chip still the same.

i order 2 chips at a time i modded another v9 after this flop the same way and no issues!
anyone ever see or hear this clicking noise?
i'm quite saddened because i know the install was a good one.

The clicking noise is the laser trying desperately to read a disc. It’s actually made by the laser coils pushing the lens around rapidly looking for the grove in the disc. If this is a V9 I'd be surprised if the laser was having this much trouble reading, you may want to check the ohms on the laser coil and see if they are burnt out. Is it reading discs, originals even, forgot to ask this?

The white ball from the swirling electrons coming together in a group can normally be fixed by setting the date and time in the configuration screen.

no not even originals when i modded this it was a working out of the box console.
