I mean the size of those two unpatched IOPRP271.img files is the same (in Bytes) or not? I want to know if those two IOPRP271.img files are the same or not.

no they are not the same

1) The one I patcehed and worked, and injected fine was bigger

2) the other one wouldnt even allow me to patch, becasue it sai that it wasnt the original.

However both files were copied from my original.

I'm pretty sure it works fine if you patched it with correct ID.

@ Nature X: Did you already made a backup of that game without patching it... And tried going online?

yeah I'm sure, two person at ps2own did this and went online with no prob.

No, I have the original, didnt need the backup. I just patched it to see how it works.

Ok thx I thought it only was for DNAS images. Coz the Admin was talking about if you don't have a Dnas.img you don't need to patch it?

I heard that NHL2004 also has no dnasxxx.img, but this one has ioprp255.img and iopd270.img, so simply you found out that you should patch the iopd270.img
