Hey guys, please clarify...if you can.

Where do I get a dnasxxx.img file from? So that I can put it into by backup?

Lets take NHL ESPN for example, I got the Disk ID utility, I put it into my sony and got my disc id.

I understand that I have to make and image, get winimage and replace the dnasxxx.img file, but my question is, where do I get a valid dnasxxx.img file?

Or is it that I have to just type in my disc id, when opened in winimage?

Thanks, it would help alot, if I can clarify this.

it seems your game is one of those games that have no dnasxxx.img file.

put the game disk into pc dvdrom and use windows search and search the disk for *.img , then post here the full name of img files that you've found.

IOPRP271.img two of these.
Also has a DNAS.rel file.

Once again, this is ESPN NHL.

Hey Evo, I sent you a pm with my email addre3ss, if you want to send me the dnasxx.img creator.

Ya, I checked my disk, and there isnt any dnasxxx.img file on my original, the files that it has I listed in my previous reply.

khafan 29-03-2004 13:34

I was right, your game has no dnasxxx.img file, you should patch those two IOPRP271.img files,

NatureX 29-03-2004 13:38

So I copy them from my original disk, to my HDD.

THen patch them, then inject them into my iso?

EVOEvo 29-03-2004 13:40

so ur saying the espn hockey has no dnas files ? will that patcher patch files other then dnas ?

NatureX 29-03-2004 13:45

Well, I renamed dnas271.nip to ioprp271.nip.
Then ran it as if it were with an dnas217.img file.

And it said, succesfull. I dont wanna waste a DVD-R though to tsest this.

WOuld ya'll like me too.?

NatureX 29-03-2004 13:50

Ok guys, I inject one of those files and it worked fine. However, when I went to inject the second one it told me that the image was full, and didnt do it.

khafan 29-03-2004 13:55

yes renaming dnas271.nip to ioprp271.nip is the right way and did both of files patched successfully?

NatureX 29-03-2004 13:57

no, one of them said, that the image is full and did not let me
what can I do

khafan 29-03-2004 14:01

I meant the patch procedure with the diskid3.
do those two files have the same size? I mean the size in byte not in kilobyte

EVOEvo 29-03-2004 14:01

hey could u post that id xx:xx:xx:xx i got that game as well just need the id and i can try it as well :)

NatureX 29-03-2004 14:03
