to be quite honest, it ain't gonna have anything more than the V9 has ps2 wise an if the dvd player/recorder is software rather than hardware based as in the ps2 then u will be a lot better off with a seperate dvd recorder/hardrive. It ain't even divX compatible which is suprising as they could've just licensed reality player an used that.
At the end of the day the ps2 is just a games console ( I know sony r in court at mo fighting a case to say it more than that) but in reality thats all it is. Why try changing it? If it works, don't fix it! Regards
