Sony Corp. showed off its PSX, the beefed up PlayStation 2 video-game machine that also works as a DVD recorder, analog TV, digital photo album and music player and goes on sale in Japan late this year for just over $700.

yeah they got these on ebay alrdy for preorders but me im waiting for the ps3 cause these things r to pricey and im sure u cant copy ps2 games with this burner lol i would be very shocked if u i heard talk and read about these for the last few months its been in PSM and OPM

yeah i'm with EVOEvo on this one, definately seems too pricey and the ps3 will be worth the wait. besides i've got a shiny new Silver v9 to play with now, so that should keep me happy (for a few weeks anyway) :) this new fan is sooo quiet! i love it! :D

too right im not shelling out 500 pounds for that carnt wait till the ps3 comes out yay!:) . Erm is it possiable to take out me v7 fan and stick in a nice new v9 to reduce the noise is that possiable??:confused: :) :D :cool:

If you think of the psx as a Playstation it is very expensive. Think of it as a dvd recorder and it is a bargain. This article says all.

Think of this as the Panasonic Consumer Burner..DMR-E30 etc or Pioneer or the Sony Burner Recently..
It's worth the $$$$ if you got it for those who wants it ALL!!

to be quite honest, it ain't gonna have anything more than the V9 has ps2 wise an if the dvd player/recorder is software rather than hardware based as in the ps2 then u will be a lot better off with a seperate dvd recorder/hardrive. It ain't even divX compatible which is suprising as they could've just licensed reality player an used that.

At the end of the day the ps2 is just a games console ( I know sony r in court at mo fighting a case to say it more than that) but in reality thats all it is. Why try changing it?

If it works, don't fix it!
