ok i will try the new bios tonight is there a way to flash the bios in the chip without removing it i noticed evox has a flash bios but how do i do it i do remeber i left the matrix chip set up to be able to be flashed

copy and paste your evox.ini here so we can have a good look at it mate, or upload it to some webspace so we can download it, if you have evox running and your copy is in the drive, and its a workable copy, in the top right corner it should say 'game', regardless of what you do then or what option you select, if it says 'unknown' then its your backup thats dodgy

You will have to open your XBox up, remove the HDD and DVD-Rom and put your Matrix chip in mode 4 (dip switches 1 & 2 off). Put your XBox back together and boot it to EvoX. Upload the new BIOS to C:\bios on the XBox, reboot your XBox and go into the flash menu of EvoX, select the new BIOS, let it flash the chip. It should reboot it self, but if it dosent reboot it again and it should be all done.

ok that did it the x2 4977 worked i flashed the bios to that and the game worked by burning a data disk in stomp record now max dvd on a fuji film dvd-r ok everyone thanks for all the help and if any one has any questions feel free to pm me ok thanks
