can one of you guys give me a link to some aspi's that you are using yourselves or have you not bothered updating from a default install of windows?
I have a phillips dvd+rw here, gonna try with that, at least i can reuse it if it dont work eh

It worked!!!! yay, it was the god damned media, thanks so much for all your comments i was on the verge of throwing a rage with the xbox, lol
can any of you tell me the best bang for buck kind of +R media for me to buy for my back ups now as the phillips ones were a little expensive, £30 for 5 :/
