For those that can flash their chip...
New X2 4975 Bios have been released. It has the media check fix included in it, so there is no need to patch the .xbe files with these bios.

hmm, I'm not sure. I did a search on google and yahoo, didn't come up with much. I only saw the LPC mod with evolution X, nothing about the chip other than sellers. Since it's not really talked about anywhere, I'm guessing that it probably isn't reflashable. Sry I can't help you, every site that said something about was German (i think), and I can't read german
