There was a bug on earlier versions of Nero which caused DVD's not to be playable in all players as the resulting DVD was not 100% DVD format.
This problem was fixed in V5.5.10.7 and above. I would recommend updating to the latest version of Nero. My DVD-R's all play in my son's PS2 and our other DVD players. Yeah, I know I'm greedy having more than one DVD player, hehehe!!
