Expensive....Maybe a little....We had Dish Network for a while and we were paying 78 bucks for the package , which included movie channels...HBO...etc.....AND I was paying 20.95 for my AOL....shudder the thought.... Now we have cable with the same channels, without HBO. But we get our local channels, which we did not get with Dish and I have cable modem... for $99 plus tax of course......My download rates are usually 70k-150k depending on who, what, where I download from. Usually on Kazaa, depending on the source I get around 50-80k, which when I had modem, I was getting around 1-3k......I don't think I could ever go back.....hehe....So for me, it was a no-brainer.....But my buddy, who is paying 29.95 for cable tv and 8 bucks for internet....It would be a HUGE jump......As with anything it will be cheaper faster better cooler,,,etc,,,etc in the end

Well i pay $9.95 for Netzero internet and dont have cable tv just Directv.

Directv did offer dsl but that service was recently discontinued.

When playing online with like Madden03 can 2 people play from the same ps2? for example me and buddy use the Steelers and play as teammates online against others. Is that possible or can only 1 person do the online thing? thanks

is the Network Adapter scarce to come by? Walmart online and Bestbuy online have it for $39 and then those goons on ebay are selling them for at least $40 with around $10 shipping.

it was a little more then a month ago impossible to find, they were going for $60 on ebay. but you should have no problem finding one now

probably cheaper and easier to go buy one at walmart than try to find a deal on ebay.
