DVDXCOPY V1.3 is the only version that supports PAL movies properly.

This could be your problem.

Bugzy: There is a newer version of Nero available. You can download the update for free at nero.com.

You can download the update at www.dvdxcopy.com. Not all movies will fit onto one dvd-r. Try Mr. Deeds, Austin Powers 3: Goldmember, or Van Wilder. They are suppoed to fit one one disc, minus the extras I am assuming.

lollyruk, I went ahead and sent you a PM, but I figured I would post in here as well, just to let everyone else know how I got Goldmember to fit on one disc.

here is what I do. Start DVD X Copy and insert the movie, and select ALL titles to copy. Don't worry about removing any of them, just select them ALL. Go ahead and press the button to begin the build. When it has saved all that it can fit onto 1 disc onto your hard drive, it will tell you to go ahead and put in the blank DVDR. Go ahead and do it, and then press the copy button. When it is done burning onto the 1st blank DVDR, it will tell you to insert the movie again. Remove the 1st DVDR, and go test it in your DVD player. The whole movie should have fit onto that 1st disc. I just test it out by skipping through all chapters and making sure you get to the credits at the end of the movie. All that should remain for the 2nd blank disc is the extra's/deleted scenes, etc. At this point I just scrap it, and don't even bother with the 2nd half. I hope this makes sense, and feel free to ask me any more questions or to clarify anything. Let me know how it works out for you!

I did the same thing for Van Wilder. On the original Van Wilder disc, it will let you play the movie in either widescreen or full screen. Since I only burned enough for one disc, my backup only plays in widescreen, and not full screen, which I am ok with.

Let me know if any of you have any questions.

Try playing it on your computer and see how it does. Your dvd player might not like your media or dvd-r all together.

Using dvdxcopy1.3 and the latest ver of nero i first i used the nero in dvdx to burn the movie and it does nothing in my player and on my cpu it gives me an error with a bunch of numbers. So i tried again using stand alone nero to burn the dvd-r and the all that came up in both my player and cpu is the dvdxcopy warning screen. Can anyone tell me what i'm doing wrong? By the way the movie was Hey Arnold and it fit on one dvd-r. i've made 2 coastes don't want anymore
