Heres some thing else you can try, but I don’t know enough about Mac’s burning software to know if this will work. You will need to have your PC and Mac, networked together, and have a DVD player on your PC.

Download a programmed call Prassi PrimoDVD, and make an images of the game with it. Then send it to your Mac and burn it to a DVD-R.

May or may not work… Just an idea.

Your PC will out perform my Mac in almost everyway except for the things Mac's are designed to do. My Mac is my work computer and my PC is for all my other crap, so when it comes down to it, it really depends on what your using it for. Different strokes for different folks...thats the last im going to say about this, so dont even get me started again.

As for networking them, its fairly simple and could quite possibly work, give it a go.

I cant backup dvd:dvd, coz my dvd burner is a dvd-ram spewin'

could anyone help me we burning ps2 on a mac, should i try os 9.

Or is there other tools besides toast

is it possible to network the dvd burner which is on the mac so the pc can use it to burn directly from one of its pc programs. I know networking a pc device to another pc device is easy, but mac is setup different. ????

Sounds like a lot of mac bashing going on and as long as you can make back ups who cares what you use. I would use an old TRS 80 if it did the job. At my post in this forum I give detailed step by step. But you need to use Toast Titanium 5.1.4 the earlier versions will not work.
