way to tell what speed game burned at?
Is there a way to tell what speed someone burned a Ps2 dvd game at?

yeah there is and it's pretty easy
if it's -R it's either 1x or 2x if it's +R it's either 1x or 2.4x if it's -RW it's 1x if it's +RW it's either 1x or 2.4x if it's -R high speed it could be up to 4x if it's -RW high speed it could be up to 2x not many choices y does it matter anyway

From what I've read it's better to burn at 1X.
What I was really trying to find out was, if a guy says he burned a game at 1X is there a way to check to make sure it wasn't 2X (DVD-r)? thanks, johnjohn13

Where did you hear 1x was better? Many respectable people on the PS2 board have reported smoother playing games when burned at 2x.

yeah stuff waiting 60min for a burn at 1x when 2x takes 25min. I've never tried 1x burning (except dvd-rw) and i never will. Waste of half and hour im my opinion
