Splinter Cell Double Agent
last thread was posed to be regarding double agent not CT. sorry guys
so it be using securerom then? anyone know this as fact? it's $37 at circuit city this week. vs $60 for 360

I know Prot.Stop works with it at least. Also, make sure your video card supports shader 3.0, if not it won't run.

You got to be fooking kidding? You mean those dumbasses alienated the vast majority of the gaming market by supporting only SM3.0!!! What a bunch of tossers! You know what's coming next don't you? We'll all have to upgrade to Vista as all the developers will make Vista only games as they think we can all afford to keep changing hardware/software every couple of months to cater to their stupid idea that every gamer has a dual core, dual GPU setup!! You WANKERS Ubisoft!!! If you think I'm shelling out hundreds of £££'s for a new GFX card (when my X850XT is running some of the latest games just fine) just to run ONE game, you can go f**k yourselves!!! If they don't add support for SM2.0 in a future patch then I hope they hang along with Saddam!!!! |

![]() i´ve just read an article about the upcomming patch, they added Shader Model 2.0 support. so u will be able to play it.

Hi! I have the original game, installed the latest patch (1.02), but I cannot launch the game from the desktop! The game seems to be launching, a screen begins to open but then stops halfway and I get this error message: "Splinter Cell exe. has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." The "Hardware Detection Tool" passed my system in all the tests (Pentium 4 / 3.20GHz with Hyperthreading, MSI Geforce 6800GT / 256MB and 1GB of RAM). So, if I even have the "recommended settings" why doesn't it work? Is anyone having the same problem, which has nothing to do with the 3.0 shaders issue because my graphic card has them? Thanks in advance!

I read the FAQ and everything that is suggested there...I have! I always keep EVERYTHING in my system uptaded and I mean EVERYTHING! So, the problem is somewhere else! Thanks anyway for trying to help! Best Regards!

i know 1 thing this games looks good but is full with fault and bugs and i've got also that problem with the shader som1 found a patch for that?
