Splinter Cell Doube Agent - Crashes on load

I have splinter cell double agent and loaded it onto my ps2 hdd with hd advance usig swap magic. When I load the game, it checks for my memory card and the game starts to load and the loading bar completes then the game freezes and wont go any further. Has anyone had any problems like this on other games this problem before? Can anyone suggest how I can get around it?

psun69: I wouldn't have a clue whats wrong with it. But I had problems with this game as well. I have a V7 PAL Chipped Ps2, the game loads fine, but when I try to select the Solo or Online Missions... the game kicks me out to the Red Screen of Death.

(Apparently the V7 Has a double check security thingy... It happens with ALL the splinter cell games on my PS2)

I don't have a HDD, my copy is on a DVD+R, but the thing is... that after looking through a lot of forums I finally made it work.

SO I loaded that dvd first, and then when it asks me to load the GAME dvd.. i inserted the game and BAM!!!... the thing works like a charm!!!

So maybe try to burn to DVD and try this method

PS: To anyone else.... does anyone know how to remove the DOUBLE CHECKS that some games perform on the DVDs???
