The thing is, the file disappears when you are not playing the game. It's not hidden, it's just gone. I think what the program is doing is, you get your backup while playing, then after you restore, it just self deletes the file or moves it someplace I can't find. I can try copying the file once I load the game again.

@Lemora
CureROM (since v1.3) and Securom_Loader both don't hide/delete reg entries, and both work with Safedisc, too.

This is what SD4 Blocker does, I copied the reg file and opened it with notepad:

So, it's taking these out of the reg when you boot the game, and when you press restore, it puts them back. I am not thrilled with these entries, but I backed the file up to disc and I'm a system restore backup addict, so hopefully there will never be problems.

Does anyone know if these entries are automatically put back by XP when you reboot and the system does its normal checking? Or do you just plain lose your CD Drive?
