You dont have to, if you think for a bit, you would come to conclusion I did and that was just to disable the drives in the Device Manager, and re-enable them when done.
For Path of Neo, I used an image I made, mounted it on DT4 and disabled my DVD-rw+ROM. It started no problem. |

So to play FEAR 1.02 and Path of Neo its only neaded to load the game disk image with Daemon Tools 4.00, disable ALL the dvd devices in the Device Manager, CLOSE Daemon Tools 4.00 and last... play the game?!?

I've been able to play any game (including Starforce ones, like X3, GT Legends, SC:CT and others) by just mouting the .mds image I made, using the new DT4 and clicking on "Disable ATA" on SFNightmare. After playing, I just click "Enable ATA" again and voilá, all's working normally.
I have just a NEC 3540A DVD-RW drive connected using a S-ATA hard drive. |

I'd love to have a mini image and .MDS file of whichever version you got (not the whole image though). No matter what I do, X3 freezes when does CD Check...

Could somebody post a GTL Mini-Image or send it to GCW please.
I tried all solutions but it won´t work. Get "Insert Disk to another Drive" or "Key isn't right for this Disk" message. Would be nice. THX |

Nforce IDE Drivers
Hi,
i have problems with GT Legends and FIA GTR Racing with Starforce... When i try to start GTR Racing and the disk is checked the machine freezes and i need to reboot. GT Legends always detects wrong disc. I tried every instruction which i was able to find in this forum and i was not able to get them to work(sfcure, sfnightmare etc.). How can i remove the Nforce IDE Drivers, everytime i remove them they are installed again afer reboot. Please help. Regards wulf |
