Daemon Tools /FM 2005 image mount help

Hi,
My laptop has a combined dvd-rw (F:) and dvd (G:) drive. When I insert my FM 2005 disc it is automatically read by the F: drive. I am trying to mount the fm2005 image file using daemon tools, so that I can run the game without the disc. As I need to emulate my F: drive, it is not working (Daemon tools does not emulate writable devices). In the Daemon Tools FAQs it says emulating a writable drive would be senseless and something that no-one would ever need to do. I don't understand, because it appears I do need to. Is there a way round this, so that I can run FM 2005 v5.0.5 without the disc? Perhaps I am just stupidly doing something wrong. Maybe there is a way I could make it so that my FM 2005 disc is read by my G: drive instead -it will allow me to emulate that drive. I would really appreciate it if someone could help me.

Thanks

assuming your os is windows 2k, xp or higher you can easily change the drive letters of a device from the control panel->administrative tools->computer management->disk management, quite simple, and chances are you wont even have to reboot, just change drive letters as such...

Thanks for that, but it hasn't worked. When I swap the drive letters over it just changes so the disc is now being read by the G: drive, and i still can't emulate it on daemon. I think this is because it is a writable drive. Is there anyway I can change it so that the disc is read by my other drive which is non-writable? Or maybe there is another piece of software I could use which would emulate my writable drive and still work with the image file?
