here you Daemon Tools V4.00HE , Tried tested and working

I've also been able to play X3 reuinuon one of the newly releases titles that uses latest Starforce techonology ,and I attached screenshots to PROVE that I am not just FAKING everything.

So you say it works? Without unplugging / hiding ide?

I had my CD-R unplugged as I mentioned in the .txt file enclosed , and now I tried plugging it back in and tested ... worked 100% perfectly , altho it took more than 20 seconds for the protection screen to finish . be patient :)

Tried it with DVD-RW drive connected. Takes less than a second until sf tells me to insert the disk. Tried with TM Sunrise and Codename: Panzers Phase One

altho I have a CD-R not a DVD .

Just say YES to the question when ur asked in the dtools setup Duke ,if that's what are u refering to

Does not work for me, but I did not disconnect the drives because I have a laptop...

There is a DVD mini image someone posted, but is there one for CD?

I tried making one on my own, but it did not really work...

Okay, Securom 7 seems to work, although I had to deactivate my cd drive to play FEAR. But I guess that is because I originally installed the game from the original cd. Should try to reinstall from virtual drive...

Dude I have just tried using your linked daemon tools 4 install above to no avail. I have a image of the dvd in a virtual drive too but no luck.

I just tried the Dtools site. Works fine.

To be honest it seems no better at SF emulation than 3.47 was, I'm seeing very little difference so far....

EDIT: Certain games I had previously needed to 'disable node' in sfn and use sfcure with now run with just DT, tho I still have to disconnect the IDE drives....

Same for me - dont work with X3.

Does this work for FEAR 1.02??
