DVD-R not running - FileForums

I found the same file on another side. The thing is I don't know how to install it with windows XP, there is no boot disk and firmware updates should be made in DOS mode right?
By the way, is it only "ltd122nc.exe" that I have to download?
I don't wanna mess up my drive, heard that could happen if firmware is installed wrong.
