Blank screen, but the game is still running and responding?

I aquired a 'backup' of the NTSC Dino Crisis. When I go to play it, the sega logo comes up, it pauses for about 5 seconds then continues to load.

The problem is that the picture never comes back! It stays blank. The picture still comes up on the VMU and by pressing the start button, I can hear that the game is running fine!

Anyone have any ideas? Has a file been patched badly? Can I rectify this easily (I can copy the files to my hard drive) or is it a gonner?!

It's not compatible with SCART/RGB leads. Try playing it with your RF lead instead. Or download the PAL2NTSC Proggy from the DC Utilities section of DC Copyworld and use that to patch the image,
