The data life cd-r's rock but most verbatim dvd media that i have used was crap. especially with the larger games burned all the way to the outer edge of the disc. Try some Ritek of Taiyo Yuden dvd-R. You should have better results. If not then we will start on the modchip  . JK, hope you get it sorted .
